How We Will Work Together.........................

All you need to do is send us a request form. We will require your contact details, so that we can communicate with you through the production process of your job.


When registering, your email address shall be your work order ID, we ask that you keep these details confidential, as the holder of these details will have authority to conduct business with us on your behalf. We at KM Print & Design will assume that the person useing your email ID details is yourself.


We will also assume that you are authorised to make decisions on behalf of the business registered as our client. KM Print & Design will not accept any responsibility for fraudulent nor misleading / incorrect information supplied to us, which we will use in the communications material that we prepare for your business.


If at a later stage you lose or surrender your authority in the business registered with us, you are required to immediately notify us so that we may close the ID account. Any of our work in progress will be immediately stopped, and we will require payment for the unfinished work as well as other expenses incurred. Alternatively, the project and all its associated costs, can be transferred if we are notified of another registered user for the same business taking over responsibility.


A Simple Plan
To instruct us about a project, we require you to place an order by emailing us. The information that you provide in this email will enable us to work on your project to your requirements. It is important that you provide us with clear descriptions of your design requirements. Based on this information, we shall also advise you of our fee for preparing your work.


Deposit
To signal your acceptance of our fee, our terms and conditions, as well as your authorisation to proceed on the job, we will request a deposit be paid before we commence production. Please note we accept payment by credit card by PayPal's secure server and your payment is completely encrypted. This means your name, address, order details, billing and payment information is encoded according to the latest international standards.


Work Progress
As soon as we receive payment towards your deposit, as well as all information pertaining to your job, work on the project will get underway. We generally prepare all artwork in English. If you require the material to be translated into another language, you must provide us with this translation typeset in Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file format.



When ready, we shall email you, advising that a low resolution proof is ready for viewing. You will have opportunity to request changes be made. We will follow instructions from other members of your organisation, only if you have authorised us to do so. You accept all responsibility for these instructions.

Final Draft
When you finally approve our work, we will request that the balance owing on this project be paid up, to signal your approval. On full receipt of payment, we shall deliver our completed work. Webpages shall be uploaded to your website space which will make them 'live' for public viewing. Other media, including high resolution print artwork will be either emailed or posted as appropriate.

Post Production
Where another supplier will use our work to supply you with a service (such as a printer printing our artwork), it is important to carefully recheck a proof from the supplier's proofing system, as it might reproduce differently to the proof we last supplied you with. Most differences are usually limitations from proofing systems, which do not affect the final job, but we advise you to confirm any doubt with the supplier. If in the unlikely event your supplier believes that there is an error with our work, please notify us immediately.

Archive
KM Print & Design takes special care to archive all the work that we prepare for you, as well as store backup copies offsite at a secret location. There is no charge for this, as it is part of our internal working procedures. If you require us to send you another copy of the work; or, if you require the original source files be given to you, you are welcome to receive these, however we do not however guarantee successful retrieval from our archival system. An archive retrieval fee will apply for this service.
